United Way GenNext is excited to present Lessons with Local Leaders, our 7th annual event bringing together community leaders and young professionals. Through this event, our goal is to facilitate an introduction and exchange between current community leaders and those who will lead change within our community in the future.
This year’s event is focused on our community’s Radical Recovery and will include three keynote presentations to create conversation around what a Radical Recovery looks like in our community. Topics of discussion will include poverty reduction, positive mental health, community involvement, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Each talk will be followed by a discussion and reflection session in your virtual breakout room with other community leaders and young professionals.
Lessons with Local Leaders is an excellent opportunity to meet other like-minded individuals in our community and learn how you can be part of our Radical Recovery.
