“I would like to thank everyone who provides the fresh vegetables, fruit and frozen meats every month through the seniors’ food market. It is greatly appreciated. I really like adding the apples to my rhubarb when I am cooking. I cannot eat raw apples but the apple and rhubarb goes well with yogurt. The vegetables make great soup in the winter weather. There is a good choice of vegetables and fruits. The minced beef is good to make a variety of food dishes. The frozen dinners were excellent for some of the older folks who do not cook. Everything we receive helps to supplement our groceries and the money we would need to spend can help to buy something that we need. Thank you to all the volunteers for the work that goes into packing and setting up the tables and for everyone who donates to make food programs like this possible.“
