United Way GenNext is excited to present our 10th annual Lessons with Local Leaders event. Through this event, our goal is to bring together like-minded community members and facilitate an introduction between current community leaders and future change-makers!
Join GenNext for an inspiring afternoon of conversation and connection, as we explore how we can tackle some of our most pressing social issues by fostering a sense of belonging and community. We all want to live in a thriving and supportive community – but building community takes community.
Here’s what’s in store:
🔨 Build Community: Connect with like-minded young professionals and local leaders who are passionate about making a difference in their community. Share ideas, spark new friendships and build your community of changemakers.
💡Learn: Hear from local changemakers who are breaking down barriers, fighting isolation and building communities where everyone can thrive.
❤️Give. Act. Volunteer: Discover opportunities to give back to your community through philanthropy, volunteerism and advocacy.
Lessons with Local Leaders will be held on Wednesday, November 19th from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Guelph Farmer’s Market.
Thanks to our presenting sponsor:

GenNext encourages people in their 20s and 30s to become involved with United Way — to more fully understand the issues that people in our community are faced with, to actively connect with and contribute to the community, and to influence positive change.
