Forget about burger week, United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin is deeming it burger month!

The United Way Ultimate Burger Battle, presented by Elinesky Schuett Private Wealth of RBC Dominion Securities, brings together the power of food and the power of giving back – it’s all about supporting local! Grab a burger, support a local restaurant and give back all at the same time – that’s what we call a ‘win-win’!

Funds raised through the Ultimate Burger Battle will support food insecurity programs across Guelph, Wellington County & Dufferin County, funded through our From Poverty to Possibility and Rural Communities focus areas.

What better way to give back to your local community than by enjoying burgers together with your friends and family?!

How It Works

Step 1: Local restaurants across Guelph, Wellington County & Dufferin County show their #LocalLove by signing on to be a Ultimate Burger Battle participant. They will each create a signature burger and sell it throughout the month. View the tasty creations here

Step 2: This is the tastiest part! Community members and workplaces try as many Ultimate Burgers as they can throughout the month. And don’t forget to show your support for your fave local participating restaurants while you’re at it! Snap a pic of that juicy burger or take a video of that tantalizing first bite, and share on social media with #UltimateBurgerBattle #BetterIsPossible

Step 3: $2 per Ultimate Burger sold is donated back to United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin.
