Most people know about Black Friday and Cyber Monday …now GivingTuesday is coming to Canada on November 29, 2016.
Giving Tuesday is a new Canadian movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Cyber Monday. The “Opening day of the giving season,” it is a day where charities, companies and individuals join together to share commitments, rally for favourite causes and think about others. Whether it’s making a donation, volunteering time, helping a neighbour or spreading the word, GivingTuesday is a movement for everyone who wants to give something back.
United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin, alongside the Guelph Gives movement, will be out in the community with our red piggies and Everyday Heroes celebrating the beginning of the giving season and the very generous community we live in.
