Proceeds from this year’s Golf United will support ongoing efforts to advance our community’s vision where everyone has a place to call home.
Permanent supportive housing – places where people have a home in a community setting which supports them individually- is the vital next step our community needs to take in our vision to end homelessness. This type of housing provides dedicated private units, which are permanent homes, plus mental health support services, visits from doctors and social workers, a community kitchen and gardens, and activities which create a caring community of people who know your name and look out for you.
Our community is well on its way to seeing 72 people on the By-Name Homeless List find a home, but your support is needed ensure the wrap-around supports are there for the years to come.
