United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin is pleased to announce that Chief Bryan Larkin will continue as the 2014 United Way Campaign Chair.
“Bryan has been, and will continue to be, a champion and supporter of United Way and the Guelph, Wellington, Dufferin community. His strong leadership and big personality have already had such a positive effect on the 2014 Campaign, and we look forward to fulfilling our goals for the community with him”, said Ken Dardano, United Way executive director.
“Bryan is an integral part of our community, who knows the difference United Way and our funded agencies make to thousands of people who live here every day. After discussion with both Bryan and United Way executive, we are confident that his connection to the community has not, and will not change, and we are thrilled to accept Bryan’s offer to stay on as United Way Chair this year”, continued Dardano.
“United Way is an organization near and dear to my heart. I am very much looking forward to continuing what I started this spring, and helping the community I have called home for many years”, said Chief Bryan Larkin. “We have heard nothing but positivity from people across the community, and a successful campaign is something I hope I can leave the community that has given so much to me over the years.”
The 2014 United Way campaign will kick-off September 10th at Market Square with a Community BBQ event between 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
