Leadership Change at United Way
Guelph, Ontario. April 28, 2020. The Board of Directors of United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin announces that, after 12 years of service as the Executive Director, Ken Dardano will be leaving United Way as of April 30, 2020.
Ken has made considerable contributions to the community and the organization during his time as our Executive Director and has helped to improve the lives of many through the raising and dissemination of considerable funds to support those in need.
The Board of Directors has now appointed Rick McCombie as interim Executive Director and has initiated a search for a permanent replacement for Ken. We wish Ken well and thank the community for their most generous support of the United Way and our community.
United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin has worked in our community for over 75 years to monitor and meet the pressing social needs of our community. Directed by a volunteer board, managed by committed staff and supported by thousands of donors, United Way works with partners in all sectors to improve lives and build community.
