We are looking for a creative and organized Social Media Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing content across our social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency, and optimizing posts for better performance.

- Creative and have excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Adept with technology including experience with Office365, design tools such as Canva, digital marketing (web, social media, and e-newsletters) and social media platforms.
- Experienced with video editing software and/or photography/videography
- Committed personally and professionally to anti-oppression, anti-racism and accessibility and identify with United Way’s values.
Role Responsibilities
- Create and organize content and digital assets for social media, including graphics & videos, writing content for posts, articles and video scripts
- Develop & schedule a social media calendar
- SEO and Analytics: Analyze past campaigns and posts, update posts to include relevant keywords for search engine optimization to improve performance
- Ensure content is consistent with brand
- Research marketing trends to ensure content is relevant
- Monitor social media engagement
- Capture social media content/photos at special events & post to social media channels
- Other administrative/marketing duties as required

- A full-time (35 hours/week) placement, compensation of $18.20 / Hour
