The Golf United Committee is a key driver of philanthropy in our community. By leveraging their extensive networks and enthusiasm for community fundraising, committee members help plan, prepare, and operate one of United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin’s signature fundraising events, Golf United.
As an operational committee of United Way GWD, the Golf Committee is a valuable resource
that helps carry out the goals of the operational plan related to engaging Leader level donors and
prospects, as well as attracting new sponsors, through the annual golf tournament. By expanding
the reach and capacity of the staff team, they support the success of Golf United by
actively participating in the recruitment of golfers, sponsorships, donations, and assist with
event logistics.
We are currently recruiting up to 5 new members to join the committee.
